What’s Going On At 13 Months

 

LittleB has been is doing really well.  She makes me laugh all the time. Here are some of the things she’s been doing or has done recently:

• She is really into making dog noise she says “ruff ruff”. 
• She gets really excited when she hears daddy come home from work.  She runs to the window and says “dada”.  I bet R will miss that when she outgrows it. 
• I had just changed her diaper and a few minutes later she goes to her room and brings me a diaper. 
• She is starting to follow simple instructions like “Go put that away”, “Let’s go outside”, “Want to go bye bye?”, and “Come here.” 
• She is really starting to learn and catch on to many new things. 

This is a great stage and I’m sure it gets even better. It’s crazy how fast the time is going by!

LittleB On The Go!

Here are some pictures of LittleB around 12 1/2 months.  Since she has been walking she sure keeps mommy busy.  She loves to be outside – she enjoys just walking up and down the side walk and exploring or going on wagon rides and she still loves to swing.

LittleB’s 1st Easter Egg Hunt

LittleB had so much fun picking up Easter eggs.  Her very first egg was a blue one and she wouldn’t put it in her basket.  She had to carry it the entire egg hunt (as you will see in all her pictures).  This is actually her second Easter but the first time to hunt eggs so it was a lot more fun for all of us.

LittleB and Her Doggies

She loves to play with her dogs and will even give them hugs.  Well, at least one of the dogs (Alexis) allows her to play with her.  Alexis does really great with her.  She will let her crawl all over her and even use her as a stepping stool.  I try to make sure LittleB is nice and somewhat gentle with the dogs.  However, Kay Kay doesn't like her to play with her - she usually runs clear away when LittleB gets close.  Every once in awhile LittleB surprises her by sneaking up on her and giving her a pat.

8 Months Already...

When LittleB got better at pulling up on stuff she decided to start standing up in her crib while it was time to take naps.  The first time she did that was on Nov. 21, 09.  Then a night or two later she woke up in the middle of the night and was standing up.  It was like 3:00AM and she was WIDE awake where mommy was not.  She has gotten better about not getting up, hopefully the new/fun has worn off.

LittleB started CRAWLING on Nov. 22, 09, at 2:30PM.  It was so exciting for mommy and daddy!  Yep, she waited for daddy to be around, too.  Before that I kept telling R that she would be crawling before Thanksgiving.  She has been all over the place and climbs on EVERYTHING.  It is so cute to see her follow you from room to room and sometimes if she's not done with a toy she will carry it in one hand while she follows.  She LOVES to dance anytime she hears music she starts moving.  It is the cutest thing!  Maybe she will be on DWTS someday!  LOL

Then just a few days later LittleB got her two top central incisors on Nov. 24 or 25, 09.  I have a feeling that she may be getting some more because she hasn't been sleeping well again.  It will be nice when she is done teething for at least for a while. 

We put up the Christmas Tree on Sunday and she loved it so much that she didn't want to take a nap.  I even got R to decorate the outside some.  I am so excited for Christmas even if she just wants to play with the boxes or wrapping paper.
