Christmas with Family at Our House

On December 19th, 2009, we had R's dad, wife, brothers and B had her entire family up as well. We enjoyed having everyone come up for LittleB and to experience Christmas at home with everyone. LittleB had lots of fun seeing everyone and opening gifts. She got spoiled and Christmas isn't even here yet! I think she is at a good age for her first Christmas! We sure do enjoy her and life wouldn't be the same without her!

LittleB and Her Doggies

She loves to play with her dogs and will even give them hugs. Well, at least one of the dogs (Alexis) allows her to play with her. Alexis does really great with her. She will let her crawl all over her and even use her as a stepping stool. I try to make sure LittleB is nice and somewhat gentle with the dogs. However, Kay Kay doesn't like her to play with her - she usually runs clear away when LittleB gets close. Every once in awhile LittleB surprises her by sneaking up on her and giving her a pat.

LittleB at 8 1/2 months

LittleB has four teeth and is working on a couple more. She is getting to be so much fun! She will follow you from room to room and if you don't pay attention to her after she has made it to you she gets very upset! She can climb stairs but with someone watching over her. She has finally decided that sleeping on her tummy is more comfortable. She is very persistent on things that she isn't supposed to be getting into. She seems to have a harder time warming up to men than women, probably because she is a mommy's girl - I guess will see if it stays that way. :D

She can clap and will come to you when you ask her, most of the time. She also knows her name and loves for you to give her lots of attention! She LOVES to give hugs to just about anything - us, the dogs, and her stuffed animals. It is the most precious thing! She is always on the go and it's become a challenge to change her diaper. She still loves to rock side to side.

She cried when we took her to see Santa, but that was expected. She really recognizes her surroundings and for the most part right now she has a easy going personality.

Friend's Rehearsal and Wedding
